The NEXT GENERATION of QORTAL – A FRESH NEW START – BEGINS NOW

The past issues regarding gaming of the consensus mechanism of Qortal have been resolved. There are no such thing as ‘founder rewards’ anymore, and ‘sponsorship’ is also gone. Complete re-work of the Qortal consensus mechanism and how to get started Minting has taken place, along with a plethora of performance, stability, and productivity improvements. Ease of access dramatically increased, and extreme amount of development over the last year.

All of the issues of the past that can cause nodes to be unstable, have been RESOLVED.

The following have been added/improved:

Qortal Hub – New DESKTOP interface.
Qortal Go – New ANDROID native MOBILE app.
Qortal Extension – New CHROMIUM BROWSER PLUGIN (works on all chromium-based browsers, Brave, Opera, Chrome, Chromium, etc, even Kiwi Browser on Android).
Massive Core Improvements – Too many to name.
PRIVATE APPS – Private applications are now possible.
DECENTRALIZED SEARCH – New Decentralized Search indexing and functionality.
Q-Search – New Q-App (essentially the ‘google of Qortal’).
Q-Tube UPDATES – Q-Tube has received MANY new updates, including leveraging new index feature for videos allowing users to easily publish indexes for Q-Search.
NEW MINTING CONCEPT – Minting has received BIG changes.
READY FOR NEXT WAVE OF USERS – Qortal is definitely ready for the next big wave of new users wishing the world was built correctly.
‘MARKETING’ – Qortal has moved away from MASSIVE DEVELOPMENT over the last year, and into ‘marketing’ (for lack of a better word).
Ease of Use Methods MASSIVELY INCREASED – New interfaces do not require running a node immediately, new fully hosted access methods for new users to get started with no installation.
https://hub.qortal.link – Access, Test, and Use Qortal Hub with NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED – Meant for new users to get started with no barriers.
https://go.qortal.link – Access, Test, and Use Qortal GO (Mobile) – Can be setup as a ‘PWA’ on iOS via Safari, and Android devices via ‘Add to Home’ links.
May add the above to https://hub.qortal.org and https://go.qortal.org as well, for simplicity, but have not done so as of yet.
The TIME IS NOW for Qortal to Start Getting Attention – There has never been a better time to get involved with Qortal.
Low Level Minters earning MUCH MORE – Due to the complete re-work of the minting system, removal of ‘founder’ rewards, and re-invention of the methods there, at the moment there are not many low level minters, and as such they are currently earning more than their higher-level counterparts, this gives a BIG opportunity for new users to become new minters after they use the platform and decide to stick around.

But now is the time for Qortal, now is the time for new users to get started, and enter a world of freedom from censorship, and corporate overlords. Much of the information on the Qortal Wiki, is currently outdated, we are working on updating it to match the extreme amount of development and changes that have taken place over the last year, but it will take time in order for the wiki to be fully updated. Just as more information will be published in blog posts here.
